The Hewitt Driver Fund
Funding from the Hewitt Driver Fund has enabled the Teaching and Learning Academy to establish a Development Fund to support ‘bottom up’ proposals for teaching and learning enhancement projects and innovations by schools or two or more schools working in partnership. A Total of £42,000 will be available to support projects over the period October 2012 to December 2014.
Calls for applications for support from the Fund will be made in September 2012 and April 2013. Applications which can be made by TLA Member Schools only will be considered by a panel of representatives from members of the TLA consortium. Schools wishing to make a request for funding through the Development Fund should notify their intent and the proposed title of the project to Alison Keyworth the TLA Project Coordinator akeyworth@marjon.ac.uk by 5pm on Friday 10th May 2013.
Following receipt of expressions of interest, applicants will be asked to complete a short three-page template. The deadline for receipt of this is 5pm on Wednesday 5th June 2013.
The Headteacher of the lead School must provide a letter indicating their support for the project.
The TLA Hewitt Driver Approval Panel will consider proposals which have a focus on enhancing the quality of learning and teaching and/or student support in line with the Guidelines for the Fund.
